Here I am at 28 weeks. I can't believe how fast this is all going! October will be here before we know it.

Mouse Hunt!
After tearing our entire kitchen apart tonight, we finally caught our very intelligent houseguest! We pulled out the dishwasher, the fridge, and the stove. This mouse was very smart, he evaded us many, many times, he even evaded the darn mouse traps that we had set up. This had been going on now for three days. Well tonight we won. Brian and I both felt VERY bad, but we really did not want a rodent living with us. Brian heard the snap, went over, and described seeing the cute little Ralph S. Mouse look up at him, take it last few breaths, and it almost, repeat, almost, brought a tear to his eye! Here is a picture of him trying to get it out from under the sink earlier in the day.
Note - tryied to remove in a humane manner, we eventually resorted to using mouse traps.

INVASION!!!!
In the past week, our wonderful and loving cats have brought us two rats and a mouse! Last week I woke up to use the bathroom, as I often do now that I am pregnant, and almost stepped on a large dead rat! Thank goodness Brian is used to being woken up in the middle of the night, and took care of that situation! My cats were very proud, but I was disgusted. I thought that would be the end of it for a while, but I was wrong. Just two days ago, I was lying on the couch with J.T. and Miggy comes in with a rat in his mouth! I thought it was dead, but was soon proved wrong. I yelled at the cat to get out of the house, but obviously that did not work, and he went into the bathroom instead. I then heard a little bit of a scuffle in the bathroom, and at this point, J.T., fat and lazy as he is, decided to go and lay in front of the bathroom door. Eventually they got bored, and left. Brian then arrived home from poker, and I told him there was a rat in the bathroom. He went in and looked, and saw nothing. I told him to look up, and lo and behold, there on the shower curtain rod was a HUGE RAT!!!!! UGHHHHH!!!!!! Again, Brian was the brave one and got it out! Clearly my cats are useless!
Last night while watching a movie, I heard a funny noise. We pushed pause, and Brian tried to find the noise. HE then looked and saw a little mouse trying to get into an oatmeal box!!!! We tried to get the little guy, actually Brian tried to get the little guy, and he ran under the dishwasher! I was cleaning up today, and went to throw something away, and under the sink, I heard the little bugger!!!!! I am so DISGUSTED with my lazy cats who think these rodents are toys, and then decide they are bored and leave them in my home, and I am DISGUSTED that they are in my home!!!!! We will be getting some mouse traps tonight, in hopes to get this thing out of my house!!!!

Doors
After much hard work and perseverence, Brian finished our new doors! This was quite a project to tackle, and I am so happy that my hubby is so handy! He took all of the dooors down, and then he had to strip the paint off of the molding. This was no easy task! But look at the finished product, what a difference. They look so nice and clean! We are really nesting and getting ready for our peanut!
