After tearing our entire kitchen apart tonight, we finally caught our very intelligent houseguest! We pulled out the dishwasher, the fridge, and the stove. This mouse was very smart, he evaded us many, many times, he even evaded the darn mouse traps that we had set up. This had been going on now for three days. Well tonight we won. Brian and I both felt VERY bad, but we really did not want a rodent living with us. Brian heard the snap, went over, and described seeing the cute little Ralph S. Mouse look up at him, take it last few breaths, and it almost, repeat, almost, brought a tear to his eye! Here is a picture of him trying to get it out from under the sink earlier in the day.
Note - tryied to remove in a humane manner, we eventually resorted to using mouse traps.

The cat/mouse situation is pretty funny. They are bringing them to their mommy because they are proud of themselves. By the way, the mouse traps are very humane. It's is a quick kill. They have these horrible poisons that make their blood like water and they bleed out. It is horrible. Don't ever use that stuff. I don't care if it is a rodent or not thats terrible!
