This summer has been going by so fast! I can't believe it is almost August! Carol and Micheal came up last week for a short but fun visit! It was nice to have Gramma and Grandpa here, I got a much needed break and finally finished the book that I had been reading for 2 years. I enjoyed the alone time very much, and I am pretty sure that they enjoyed their Kara time! We went up to Little Farm with them, and the Tilden Park Steam Trains as well. Kara LOVES to feed the animals, and ride the train. It was an all around great visit.
We are now getting ready for our next big trip back to Chicago! Kelly's wedding is right around the corner, and we are all getting very excited! I know that my parents can't wait to get their hands on Kara! I have been practicing with Kara how to "walk down the aisle." We walk through the kitchen holding hands, and singing "Here Comes the Bride." I hope that she makes it..... I am looking forward to spending time with my family as well, and having Brian on the flight with me this time around! It will be nice to have another set of hands on the plane!!!!! Kara is a pro, but I am still very nervous about the flight.
We have had many play dates this summer! We have been going to Water World, Gymboree, Super Franks, Pixie Play Land, and many many other places. It is so nice that we have such a great group of friends that we met through Gymboree! Kara loves her friends, Quinn, Grace, Bryson, Jackson, Sean, and Isabella! It is nice when we can break up our day and get out on some play dates! Going back to work may be really tough for this mom!!!!!
